Numerous A frames left on verges between Morpeth and Alnwick

Reported anonymously at 20:44, Monday 12 July 2021

There are at least 20 abandoned metal A-frames with no signs on them on the verges of the A1 between the north end of the Morpeth bypass and the turn off for Alnwick. They have been there for months/years without being used. I also counted at least 13 abandoned cones on the same stretch of road. Why are these not collected up after they have been used? Apart from being unsightly they are dangerous if someone happened to hit one and at the very least it is a complete waste of money having them lying about.I look forward to your comments.
