There is a raised pavement in the middle of the shared use path, which is an essential cycle route used daily. The raised pavement cuts straight across the path. Two weeks ago, my back tire got punctured due to the kerb, which is impossible to see in the dark; a less competent cyclist, or someone travelling at higher speeds could easily have a crash, which could be lethal, considering that the busy A52 is just a meter away. The curb urgently needs to be lowered, with the surface levelled, in order to make the path safe to cyclists who use it on a daily basis, especially in the dark.
