The sign directing drivers to the Marlow Bottom and M40 North exit is not clear. Too many drivers approach the traffic lights in the middle lane instead of the right hand lane and then cut across and in to traffic at the last minute. Overhead signage would help to resolve this problem.

Sent to Highways England 1 minute later

There are many near misses here because traffic is in the incorrect lane. The correct lanes are identified on the road but as the roundabout is so busy this can’t be seen. The current sign is not clear, not big enough or early enough.

  • Highways England said that it’s not a priority to update signage. In the meantime people will continue to cut across lanes causing potential for accidents.
