Tree blocking footpath along A36

Reported in the Fallen tree across road or pavement category anonymously at 17:13, Wed 6 March 2019

Sent to Highways England 2 minutes later

There is a tree blocking the footpath on the east side of the A36, 10metres north of the Pipehouse Lane junction. Its not urgent as you can bypass the section of footpath by walking along a second footpath nearer to the main road, although this is considerably less pleasant, particularly when raining because its narrow and right next to the A36, and when puddles are around means you tend to get covered in water from traffic moving towards you at 60mph.

  • The Highways Agency have contacted me to say they will attempt to remove the 'tree' this week.
