Worn lane markings

Reported in the Road markings category anonymously at 15:19, Monday 3 February 2020

Sent to Highways England 1 minute later

Worn lane markings causing confusion of what lanes to use. Lots of drivers unknowingly cutting other drivers up or finding themselves in the wrong lane. The marking seem to have been worn for over 12 months at other parts of the roundabout too.

  • Following the complaint in February about the faded road markings at Junction 10 M42 slip road south bound ,the lanes are still causing confusion and potential accidents due to 2 lanes have now been marked for “Kingsbury”. This is resulting in vehicles cutting up others due there only being one lane once you’re on the island to filter for the Kingsbury exit. I myself have nearly being hit by another vehicle as the person was in the lane for Dordon but merged across in my lane for Kingsbury.
