Many sections of the joint between first and second lanes for approx. 2 kilometres length. This is causing cars and motorcycles to veer off violently when they hit the pots. At speeds up to 70 mph etc, these are posing a very dangerous hazard with the compounded problem of potential damage to the vehicles that hit them. Broken suspension brings are in evidence and many must have suffered damage to their car motorcycle tyres. This needs an urgent repair (permanent not temporary.

These holes are increasing in size as I observe them daily on my commute.

  • Despite almost no traffic, these poor road surfaces remain in a very poor state and still posing a massive threat of danger to road users. The opportunities are being lost as we come out of lockdown. These repairs could have been actioned along with many other road surface discrepancies over the past lockdown 8 weeks and at a vastly reduced cost due to having perfect weather for road reinstatement.

Just what are the councils and highways England thinking??

  • Now that we are post lockdown, the traffic density is back to “normal” and the repairs have lasted 6 days and are showing massive degradation of the road surface. Yet another Clouncil who haven’t seen the plot that proves the temporary repairs done by crap contractors are just milking the system in conjunction with local decision makers. I wouldn’t pay them in tin washers.

    You pays your money eh???

Maybe if we were to suggest that the Queen is visiting, something might get done. Haha
