I would like to konw,the sign for national speed limit is so far away from the exit of the roadworks at the Roundabout?

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

I think the sign is to far away from the exit of the roadworks,as soon as you pas this sign you are already in the roundabout limit of 30 miles an hour. Police is placing the van right before the sign and several people are getting speeding tickets.

    The reduction of the National Speed limit occurs near to the start of the temporary vehicle restraint barrier where staff are regularly working .

    We continue to partner with Northamptonshire Road Safety Team to ensure the safety of our staff and the travelling public. Please expect to see police speed detections team on site for the foreseeable future.

    The current speed restrictions will remain in place for the safety of the public and staff for the remainder of the scheme, until completion.
