Some giant hogweed grown on the side of the A46 in Uupper Swainswick, Bath

Hi I’ve just noticed but there are some giant hogweed grown on the side of the A46 in Uupper Swainswick, Bath

I know this is becoming a problem and spreading so I thought I’d let you know. This looks like it’s public land and should be taken care of by the council before it spreads. Please contact me if necessary

  • The spot where the Giant Hogweed is growing is slightly further back down the hill from where it is marked on the plan (closer to Swainswick). As you drive up the A46 It can be seen on the left either side of the wooden fence.

  • We've passed this report to another team in the council. They will carry out any further work needed. Sometimes it can take a little longer as a result.

    We'll update this report once we've decide what action to take.
