Incorrect/inconsistent road markings

Reported in the Road markings category anonymously at 21:00, Wednesday 10 June 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

The road markings on the A60 leading up to the roundabout have been recently refreshed having not been visible for at least 7 years. I reported them a long time ago. The centre lane arrow should indicate a combination of ahead (A60S) and right (A52W). It now only shows ahead, however, the roundabout layout remains unaltered.

  • It's not fixed because Highways England says it is not their responsibility and the link they gave me to Notts County Council told me I can't report it to that department. Still going around in circles

  • Still not fixed. Yesterday VIA told me that based on grainy photos from google maps that they can’t tell if the arrow used to be ahead and right and so believe the new one is correct and the old one must have been incorrect. The old one matches the roundabout lanes, the new ones do not. They told me no further action would be taken and that I should check the correct operation of the roundabout with Highways England. This is beyond belief.
