What on earth?

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
What on earth are you thinking? You've made it ONE lane for the A5 West Bound for all traffic from the A5 AND A38 (coming via A5148). This could only have been thought up by someone who's never visited the area never mind tried to drive through it in traffic! It's chaos already virtually constantly blocked by A38 traffic that us on the A5 have no chance unless we bully our way out or use the second lane that used to be for the A5 and cut someone up just before the lights! It's going to be horrific in busy periods, it will gridlock and you WILL cause accidents.
I can guess why you've done it, because of all the accidents and near misses at the second island where the A5 and A5127 (towards Lichfield) split. But it's pretty obvious your problem there, it's no good having the A5 lights green and the A5127 lights red! They're less than 100 foot apart!!! If one set is green, the other set needs to be green!! It'll still back up now because people can't read the signs and will block it off!
If you need help just give me a shout, it's really not hard, is it?
Spoke to them via other means. They didn't even know what the road marking were before they changed it and insisted it was the same, so I showed them on Google earth. This is the type or organisation running the show, abandon hope.
