Overgrown trees and bushes, full of rubbish

Reported in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 07:45, Wednesday 29 July 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

From the north bound slip round on junction 9 to the bridge that goes over Axletree Way the vegetation, trees and bushes have overgrown and in some places massively that makes it difficult to walk. Rubbish is spread all across it from car parts to old signs thrown into the bushes. This part of the junction is used heavily by the public from school kids to people rising bikes, or to commute to work. In wet conditions the area becomes a slip hazard due to the mud and silt that develops. This area needs a big tidy up with trees and hedges pushed back. The barrier is damaged in places and could do with replacing with something higher as school kids try to walk along it for fun. I walk this route everyday for a number of years and it doesn't seem like any maintenance work has taken place for a long time. I previously contacted Sandwell council who say they are not responsible for its upkeep. If this is also not the correct place can you advise where is please.
