10 inch pothole on the A43 adjacent to the 200M board approaching the Barleymow Roundabout from the North (Brackley)

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:47, Thursday 30 July 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

The pothole is at the site of a previous repair at the location stated above. This is within the braking area approaching the Barley Mow roundabout from the Brackley direction. I don't know how long the pothole has been there, I don't travel this way frequently. The previous repair masks the pothole to some degree making it difficult to spot from a driving position. It is unsafe to take close photos of this pothole due to the busy nature of this road and no pavement. I hit this pothole under braking and it has destroyed the sidewall of my run flat tyre. The wheel may be damaged also.
