  • I do not expect any response from this report, however, I feel that it must be said. On 20th November 2020, I had the total misfortune of having to ‘use’ one of your diversions. Fully loaded to 44 tonnes, I was travelling south on the A1.. I came across a sign. A1 South closed. At this point, I was actually on time, in fact, early for my delivery. We were taken off the A1 onto the A607. I know this road well. It is not the best for Hgv’s at the best of times. Into Melton and back out via Oakham. 1 hour 15 minutes. From leaving the A1 to getting back via the A47. Now, you may not see a problem with this, but I was late for my delivery, as I ran out of driving time as a result of the ridiculous diversion that was put in place.
