Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
This problem has been here for over 2 months. Cars veering out of the way
I drive on this section every day and it has got very bad now. Lorry veered out of the way of damaged section and a car assumed lorry was turning off and pulled out an accident was narrowly avoided.
It is a matter of time until someone is killed on this bit of road because of its condition.
There are also other bad dips along either side of road that are throwing vehicles around especially lorries and larger vans. Please do something urgently before someone is killed.

This road is massively uneven, causing cars to jump about and veer into and out of turning lanes to avoid the worst of it.
Additionally, when waiting to emerge from the Coggeshall road junction coming from Earls Colne at night, the cars coming from the West bounce up and down on the uneven surface, making their lights flash which could make a driver assume that they are being let across. With the days getting shorter and the nights longer, this is an accident that is sure to happen if it goes unfixed
This historically dangerous piece of road is being made even more lethal by this problem being swept under the rug for over 3 months.

The multiple dips in the road has worsened drastically and if the works will take some time to organise then there needs to be an emergency speed restriction. It felt like my car was going to launch in the air and it can’t be any good for car suspension supports.
