12 inch diameter deep pothole on northbound edge of roundabout

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

This is a deep pothole as traffic emerges from the north bound A1 onto the roundabout. It is likely to cause severe injury to any motorcyclist hitting it and is certainly going to cause damage to cars if it is not repaired quickly. It cannot be avoided by traffic emerging onto the roundabout. I reported it to the Highways Agency weeks ago but nothing has been done

  • Today, 21st Aug 20, I hit this same pothole emerging onto the A1 northbound from Buckden. This is a very busy roundabout and needs to be sorted asap as very likely to cause damage or injury to road users. Not surprised to learn nothing has yet been done, despite being reported weeks ago !!
