Port a loo at layby. A real eyesore

Reported in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) category anonymously at 08:31, Monday 24 August 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

I have asked a number of times why this port a loo is at this layby on a21. It looks disgusting. This is the layby coming off slip road from tesco, onto a21 towards pembury slip road, heading towards hastings on left hand side. It has graffiti on it and does not make the layby appealing to stop and rest . More effort should be made to make laybys more tidy. Take a leaf from France book.

Updates

  • Its an eyesore having a dirty looking [portable loo] on the side of the road. The actual layby looks unkempt anyway but that does not help. Why are the laybys in UK not looked after or a proper nice rest spot? Take a leaf out of france book.

  • Any sort of answer would be ideal as to why this horrible unit that has been vandalised is still there?

  • Why isn't anyone recognising this instead of sending this asking for an update! AGAIN! Has anyone been to investigate ?
