Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
The problem is an ongoing cover problem on this stretch of the A590. The noise (bouncing and vibration) made by HGVs passing over this manhole, opposite 23 Ulverston Road, is becoming unbearable for householders in the vicinity especially at night time.
Our route inspector is aware of this issue. He is monitoring the manhole and road surface and if it degrades further an instruction will be issued to the contractor for repair.

How bad does this problem have to get, how long do we have to wait for action? this problem has been present for approx 6 months, if it degrades no further it is still unreasonable for Highways England to expect residents in the vicinity of the manhole to put up with the constant noise 24/7. This problem requires attention ASAP!
