Pavement so small, unsafe to walk, overgrown vegetation

Reported via mobile in the Pavement/footpath issue category anonymously at 14:16, Tue 6 October 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

The overgrown vegetation is really not helping this already ridiculously narrow pavement along the A36. Walking along this road in Wilton is terrifying, with lorries thundering past almost touching your arm. Supposedly a 30 mph limit but lots of speeding. Please widen the footway, install traffic calming, or for now at least chop back the planting to at least make it as wide as possible.

  • A36 Stapleford Wiltshire. About 100metres east of Riverside Garage Stapleford the pavement is badly rippled for quite a distance and is very dangerous for pedestrians who could quite easily fall on to the A36
