A36 Limpley Stoke - Dead ash trees

Report forward on behalf on Mr Dun.

Dear Madam/Sir This is to notify you that there are three ash trees, dying (presumably from ash dieback) that I believe pose a serious threat to traffic and people on the A36 at Limpley Stoke.

They are located on the steep bank of the A36, close to the edge of the road, 200 m uphill (south) from the turning to the disused Rose and Crown pub. Two of the trees have been dying for a several years and have been losing small branches into and across the road for around 4 years – particularly in high winds. The third tree is a year or two behind. This year, one of the trees had no leaves whatsoever this summer – and the second very few leaves. They are also weighed down by ivy.
