Lorries from Tarmac Alrewas Quarry dropping huge amounts of mud on the road. This situation has been going on for months, has been reported numerous times to the environmental agency, who have informed yourselves and the police, still nothing done about it

As above, the Alrewas Quarry site on Croxall Road ( run by tarmac) is not keeping the effects of their operation within their site, as lorries leaving the site deposit huge amounts of mud on the road which extends for around a mile, almost onto the A38 island, and makes driving conditions dangerous. This problem has been going on for months, and despite being reported numerous times to the environment agency, who have informed yourselves and the police, nothing changes. The site constantly promises to stop it happening and constantly do nothing. They do have a small sweeper that tries to clean up the road, but it is hopelessly out gunned and the mess should actually not be there in the first place! The lorries leaving the site have to go through a wheel wash, however this is not policed so they go through it as fast as possible not giving it a chance to actually clean the wheels, so the mud is just left all over the road. Obviously should you need them either I or the environment agency can provide photographs of the state of the road.
