Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 23:46, Wed 11 November 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

Roadworks on southbound M1 beginning just before junction 29 have absolutely zero warnings of lane closure. No illuminated signage or yellow tin signs. Suddenly only lane 4 is open. It is dark, windy and raining and the cones appear from a distance to be across the exit slip only. They are not. Accident waiting to happen.
