A27 Sussex Pad traffic lights sequencing

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 10:06, Friday 13 November 2020

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

Yesterday afternoon, like so many, I had to wait almost 25 mins to get through the lights turning right into the A27 from Coombs

There were 8 cars in front of me, and it takes around 5 mins per change, so long as everyone is in the ball.

This means that I then hit the traffic coming out of Worthing, & a trip home 30-40 mins longer than it could be.

I am wondering whether there is significantly more trafffic around 4pm, due to the evenings getting darker earlier ?

Many thanks
