A27 traffic lights at Shoreham Airport/Coombes Road just west of A283 interchange. Normally no great problems, but for the last week or so they are changing frequently but for very short times. It now takes typically 20+ mins to get on from the side roads and the westbound A27 right filter lane can back up onto the main carriageway.
Thank you for taking the time to report the issues with the traffic lights on the A27, Shoreham Bypass and please accept our apologies for the recent inconvenience and tailbacks experienced.
Engineers have attended and this week when faults were detected with repairs having been carried out. The lights are now performing to design and I trust you will notice an improve on future journeys.
