7 Lights out on lamp posts on the dual carriageway just off the roundabout at M6 J44.
Reported via desktop in the Street lighting (NH) category anonymously at 10:21, Fri 11 December 2020
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2427217.
These lights were reported to Cumbria Highways but they have confirmed they are your responsibility. There are three poles with two lights each that are not lit at night. And one directly on the roundabout at the juntion with the traffic lights leaving M6 J44 Northbound exit. So 7 lights in total all batched together not working. Thank you

We undertook a lighting scout at the beginning of the month and logged any lamps which were out for repair. We are not 100% sure responsibility for these lamps lies with Highways England. Our contractor is planning a night scout in the near future, on which they will log the column numbers which need a repair. I will update this report to confirm ownership of these assets following the lamp scout.
State changed to: Investigating

Thank you - There are no obvious numbers on the pillars (I live nearby and checked). I tried with Cumbria CC but they 100% said not theirs and are yours. There are now two out (seperate posts) on the roundabout itself also now. So up to 8 lights in this small patch out. Thanks...

Hello. Is there an update please? These are all still out and not lit, 7 weeks later!? What is the normal fix time for such a large batch of lights next to each other? Thanks.

Hi - Two months since initially reporting and nothing has happened? Is this the right forum to report this (When I use the coucil service for local lights, it is fixed within 48 hours). How do I escalate this please..? Thank you.

Hi - We have now ticked over in to March 2021 and still no resolution to this whole bank of lighting out? Although the days are getting lighter this is still a big stretch to have no light on? Is there somewhere else this should be escalated to, as nothing seems ot be happening here? Please advise. Thank you.

Hi... Well in to April now...How do I pursue this please? Not fixed, no updates, still a safety risk so close to such a major junction during darkness. Can somebody please reply? Thank you

Hello. I thought I should check today as it is now officially 6 months, yes half a year, since this problem was first rpoerted and there has been no resolution. The staus is investigating. But I fail to see what still needs investigating six months later? As there has been no update I assume nothing has changed? Do I need to raise a new fault, does anybody still look at this one outstanding? Please can somebody advise something just so I know somebody is out there and reading these? Thank you...
