Repainted lane markings on Jct 60 causing traffic to 'crowd' dangerously
Reported via desktop in the Road markings (NH) category anonymously at 19:57, Sun 13 December 2020
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2430247.
I am concerned the current road markings at Jct60 may result in an accident. On entering the roundabout from the A154 there are three lane choices. Lane 1 is marked for left turn (1st exit) to Port of Felixstowe. Lanes 2 and 3 are marked A14 West. The usual situation is that traffic using Lanes 2 and 3 enter the roundabout side by side. When using Lane 2 and entering the roundabout the broken white line road markings on the roundabout push traffic dangerously into Lane 3 necessitating a late left steer to avoid the traffic in Lane 3. The road markings were fine before the recent resurfacing and repainting of the lane markings. Google maps seems to show the old markings.

This has still not been attended to and is extremely dangerous if there are cars waiting at the lights in lanes 1, 2, and 3
Please let me know when this will be attended to

....further to my comment above. Please let me know with whom I may take up this issue. I fail to see how anyone could have inspected this site and found it to not be a cause for concern

Issue has been previously highlighted to Highways England by the Traffic Signal Maintenance Coordinator for this Region. A154 Lane 3 of 3 needs to remain Lane 3 all the way round onto the A14 Westbound. A154 Lane 2 of 3 needs to remain as Lane 2 where the circulatory meets the A14 Northbound Port of Feloxstowe Road with cross hatching covering the current Lane 1. Cross hatching on the exit Lane 1 A14 Westbound I will leave the Westbound exit as a 2 Lane exit onto the dual carriageway.
