Blocked road drains are directing water into our front door when it rains

When it rains hard, the road drains cannot take the water and the water diverts onto the pavement and into our front door. Big lorries and cars also splash the water into our front room when we answer the door.
On further inspection this morning, I think the problem is exacerbated by the fact the A5 has been resurfaced so many times it is almost the same height as the top of the kerb stones. There is nothing to stop the water therefore coming over the top and into the house. Water isn’t drained away at all outside our house, number 41 Watling Street. Thank you.
