A lorry just hit the bridge nearest to Ladymead Retail Park (travelling from the Wooden Bridge towards the Spectrum). The lorry drove on heavily damaged but we could not stop to look at the bridge. At the next lights (Ladymead Retail Park) my husband got out and asked the driver if everything was ok (the good section of his lorry was badly damaged) but he said he was fine. He continued at a very low speed before turning left at Stoke crossroads. We think it would be a good idea to check the bridge’s structure trial integrity as it took a big hit.
