Lane guidance signs needed

Please can you put more signs up indicating which lanes take which exits? People who are unfamiliar with the roundabout often think the left most lane will only go to Fishbourne, they swerve into the middle lane and swerve back out into the left lane once they realize they can go onto the A27 eastbound in that lane. Cars do this to me, at least once a week. I almost got taken out by a lorry this morning, so thought it might be worth mentioning. I'm sure I'm not the only one having a near miss once a week because of this.
Thank you for reporting your concerns. We can appreciate your issues with poor driver behaviour and sorry that you’ve experienced this on more than one occasion.
Having sought feedback from our Safety Team, they advise that there is suitable and clear lane directional signage on the westbound approach to the roundabout and the lane markings were refreshed in the Autumn 2020 and are clearly visible, though we monitor for any deterioration through our weekly inspections along this stretch of the A27.
The A27 Chichester Bypass remains on our radar and are aware of nose-to-tail incidents on all the roundabouts, and whilst we have safety improvement schemes in our forward programme at this time there are no immediate plans to install additional signage.
As we’re not an enforcement agency we’re unable to take any action with regard to driver behaviour and poor lane discipline, but any incidents of anti-social driver behaviour can be reported to Sussex Police via www.operationcrackdown.org
