There is a section of about 7 lights going towards Claudius way, that have not been working for several weeks.
Thank you for contacting Highways England.
We are aware of the A45 lighting you have mentioned.
We conduct regular inspections of the East Midlands Strategic Roads Network which include streetlighting assets. As such any safety critical defects are identified and dealt with as a priority. Non-safety critical defects are dealt with over longer time scales dependent upon the specifics of the location. In this case we appreciate your concerns and have instructed our inspector to look at the defects you have identified with a view to arranging for repairs based upon the appropriate priorities. Wherever possible, work is scheduled alongside planned closures and upcoming schemes of work. While this can sometimes increase the time it takes to complete repairs, it does help to reduce disruption to the travelling public, and avoid any additional unnecessary closures on the network.

This is a separate report of these street lights not working it is located near the Petrol Station & is very poor visibility during usual hours and the risk to other road users is increased due to driver behaviour as they are now using full beam which is dazzling other drivers.
