Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2488845.
The verge running from the end of Loretto Road up to Bradfield Road i.e. between the fence by the public footpath and the M60 itself, is covered with litter, including drink bottles, food wrappers, flytipped waste, cones, bollards and similar. It looks bad and there are often rats around there. Volunteers have tidied the path area itself but it is unlawful to go between the fence and the M60, the council say it is Highways England's responsibility. This needs to be tidied up as it's disgusting and children use the path to walk to school.
