There is a large pothole around a mental drain cover on the road after the exit from st Leonard’s hospital onto the a31 slip road. St Leonard’s hospital is being used as the Local Covid Vaccination centre and is seeing a massive increase in traffic volume. The pothole is growing regularly and clearly a significant hazard.
Site being used as COVID19 Vaccination Site so a lot of traffic accessing the site and will continue to do so for minimum of 6 months; several large potholes in road on exit slip road, one of which appears to have metal inside it. Could cause damage to vehicles and potential accident

The description in this report covers the pothole on the exit to the slip road. There are also 2 pot holes on the entrance from the slip road to the hospital within 5 metres of the original one. As a Covid Vaccination site the hospital is used by many senior citizens whose driving skills may have deteriorated during the last 12 months of lockdown. The slip road is difficult to use at the best of times. Repair to these potholes is urgent if damage to wheels and tyres is to be prevented.
