Thick, deep mud and flood water at entrance to pedestrian bridge over the road which is dangerous and renders the bridge inaccessible.

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

As you can see from the photos, the drainage here is non existent and it floods when it rains which makes accessing the footbridge difficult unless you are wearing waders or Wellington boots. The situation is exacerbated by the accumulation of thick, deep mud which has become dangerously slippery and makes accessing the footbridge perilous.

  • The mud has still not been cleared away. Luckily, much of the rain floodwater has evaporated in the spring sun.
