Pothole on M27 eastbound near junction 10

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:50, Monday 8 February 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

This pothole is hard to avoid and impossible to see at night. I hit the pothole while driving to hospital (QA), the tyre burst and I had to come off the M27 and call the AA. A replacement tyre was needed which could not be done till the following day at a cost of £75. I needed to take my neighbour to visit his dying wife in hospital, so once the spare wheel was fitted I had to then drive to the hospital via A27 ( which took longer).

I am now out of pocket and feel the road should not have been left in this condition, it is a very large piece of road that is missing. Karen Williams 4 Coombedale Locks Heath SO31 6UJ 07788973861
