Lack of gantry signage on M6

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
Good morning, today, for the third time this week, I have exited the M6 northbound at Jct 19, to find the northbound A556 is closed due to roadworks. Prior warning used to be given on the gantry signs heading north on the M6 of this , but not this week, when they have displayed 'Salt Spreading'. It would be useful to have prior warning so, not only to save delay, but to prevent other traffic leaving at Jct 19, doing a full circle of the roundabout, to then join the M6 again, especially when workers are on or about the roundabout.
Same again on Saturday 21st August! Car sat nav showed M6 northbound closed but nothing on motorway overhead gantrys all the way up from Birmingham, except time to Knutsford services, which suggested motorway clear with no delays. 2 miles before junction 19 traffic grinds to a halt so that 4 lanes all have to exit at junction 19 and then rejoin the motorway on the other side of the roundabout - 20 minute + delay 😏. Very poor planning. If the information had been given further south could have exited at junction 17 or 18 to avoid. Trust satnav, NOT motorway signs - which should be more accurate. Why bother spending millions ££ on overhead signs and then don’t bother to provide accurate info???
