Litter on MOTORWAY section (junc 6-7) of A1M

Reported via desktop in the Litter category anonymously at 17:48, Tuesday 2 March 2021

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

Ok, third time lucky. This section of the A1M is a MOTORWAY and therefore the responsibility to keep verges clear of litter is Highway England's. I have had this clarified by a representative from the local council. There is litter on the verges all the way up between junction 6 and 7 of this motorway section of the A1M. Also on the central reservation, and the southbound verges too. It is unsightly and probably a hazard to traffic. Please can you get a team out to clear it up. Thanks.
