Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

Following the bridge waterproofing and new bridge joint installation, wooden shuttering has been left in the central reserve, this is not an immediate hazard, but needs to be removed in case it does move into he carriageway

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England concerning the shuttering in the central reserve of the A36.

    To minimise disruption to road users, we will arrange for the shuttering to be collected when we next have a lane closure in the area for maintenance works.

    In the meantime, our inspection team will keep and eye on it and if there’s a risk it will become a safety hazard they will arrange for it to be removed as soon as possible.
