The whole stretch of A38 from Minworth to Lichfield is absolutely covered in rubbish, litter and debris from cars (tyres and car parts). It's beyond belief that one of the main roads has been neglected so badly and there is such a lack of care despite the motorists still having to pay their taxes. The rubble is not only making the place looking like post war zone, but it poses so many hazards to the motorists, it is beyond my understanding how the place managed to deteriorate so badly and Highways England is taking no or very little action to address the problem.
Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding litter along the A38.
The responsibility for this issue, on this road, is that of Birmingham City Council and Staffordshire County Council.
Could we please ask that you contact them to resolve.
