Seriously getting so fed up of reporting this. Highways England you are seriously an incompetent disgrace of an agency. Why do your enable your contractors to continually DUMP all their road work equipment instead of collecting it once work is completed? Not only is this a massive waste of money, coming out of tax payers pockets; it is a massive eyesore and further adds to the already heavily littered roadsides. You as an agency are a massive part of the problem of littering and flytipping. You continually dump your equipment all over the country, showing a clear disregard for the environment. Your automated responses are actually embarrassing and shows very little interest in rectifying your constant flytipping. Please come and clear up YOUR equipment from the roadsides, it is NOT a dumping ground!
Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector reviewed your report.
Our inspector visited the location and agrees that remedial work is needed to ensure the safety of road users.
As such, he has arranged for the traffic management removed, which is no longer needed for any existing works.
Kind regards Highways England
