Approach to Brenley Corner from Canterbury toward the M2/A299

On the approach where drivers need to get in Lane (left for M2 and right for A299) the road markings are very close to the junction, please could additional road markings be placed further from the junction or (as the junction can suffer from congestion, with cars obscuring the road surface) a “get in lane” sign is installed at least 300m away from the junction

  • Thank you for your patience whilst our inspector & safety team reviewed your report.

    During the review our they have concluded that this isn't causing any immediate safety concerns at this time and remedial work isn’t required. However, we will include this location for future improvements on our network, and in the meantime we will continue to review this location under our weekly safety inspections and will arrange any required work if the situation changes.
