The bridge has developed a large crack all the way across the footbridge along with signs of movement on the main structure itself

  • Thank you for contacting Highways England about the crack in the surfacing of the footbridge. We appreciate you taking the time to make us aware of your concerns.

    Our inspection team have been to the site and located the crack. The defects are in the surfacing material on the deck of the footbridge and material working loose from the expansion joint there is no structural defects.
