Cones to close inside lane without sufficient warning.

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
There are cones used to close the inside lane of A556 (northbound near jct for M56). Cones appear staggered but there is not sufficient warning. There is a non-illuminated sign to move into the right hand lane but this appears only after the lane has shut. It is very easy to miss the lane closure as the cones only appear in the lane after a long period of cones marking the lane edge.
Thank you for your patience whilst we completed the repairs in relation to your report over this weekend. We can confirm that the cones have been removed from the live lane. Currently, there is a hard shoulder closure at this location. We apologise for any inconvenience the traffic management may have caused and we have informed the site manager of your report for future events.
