Large pothole/collapsed road at site of previous repair in nearside lane

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:38, Sunday 9 May 2021

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

This pothole has been there for several months. It was recently repaired but is back with a vengeance. The pothole is damaging to cars and if you swerve to go around it could cause an accident.

  • Driving on the A35 and encountered the reported pothole. Prior to this pothole is a traffic sign advising motorists of uneven surface. This is actually quite misleading as it is a massive pothole which has the potential to damage a car'suspension and substantially put a car's wheel tracking out of alignment. Having the misfortune to catch the edge of this pothole I hope that none of the aforementioned affects my car.

  • Huge pothole west bound at end of dual carriageway. My car shuddered severely when travelling this road today at approx 3.30pm. I wish to lodge this incident as my car will need to be checked as soon as possible.
