Large Puddle/Flooding on A46 Southbound (J5)
Reported via mobile in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 09:41, Sat 22 May 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2741797.
The outside lane (and other two lanes to a lesser extent) regularly floods when it rains. This has been like it for some time and has been the cause of numerous accidents. Could the road surface/drainage be looked at please as soon as possible? The flooding is by the mileage sign when travelling southbound or opposite the overhead gantry for the northbound carriageway.

Perhaps your inspector should come and look when it is raining. This has been a problem for years, but you do nothing about it.

There is a safety issue with the water on the road. This is evidenced by the number of times you have to repair the central barrier.

Any chance the inspector can come and look at this again? Will need a boat to travel in the outside lane soon.
