The road is buckeling in a place that has had problems before and could be about to slip.

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
On the southern side (left hand when going toward Ross) before the Arnco barrier starts, there is a piece at the side of the road which dips and then rises up. Some years ago we had a significant land slip at this point which resulted in a period of road closure and major repairs. My worry is that this buckled piece of road is a sign of further erorsion of the soil beneath the road. It has been acknowledged that major work is needed beyond the next bends but I do not know when that is now scheduled to happen.
