Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2775890.
The grass in the central reservation is now getting so high its blocking your vision when using the slip road from the southbound going into wittering . You literally have to sit stationary on the white line to see if it clear.

Over 3 weeks since I had a reply and the grass has got even longer making it even more dangerous to cross the a1 on this junction . I understand covid has had some affects on staffing but surely safety is important as well.

Thank you again for your report regarding the A1 Wittering vegetation.
I am sorry it has taken so long to get the A1 in for a vegetation cut however due to the current weather conditions we have been trying to keep up with the vegetation issues on the whole network. Our contactors have stated that they are due to start the 1st cut of the A1 next week, 5 July 2021.
I hope this helps with your enquiry. Kind Regards Highways England
