Sent to Highways England less than a minute later
Same problem as J42 , the grass cutting machine on the roundabout has shredded the litter on the grass verges . It looks very insightly I’m afraid.
Thank you for contacting Highways England regarding litter collection and grass cutting around the roundabout at Junction 41.
The responsibility for this issue, on this road, is that of Cumbria County Council. We manage and maintain the M6 and associated slip roads. The roundabout circulatory and adjoining arms from the B5305 are the responsibility of the local authority.
Could we please ask that you contact them to resolve.
Contact details for local authorities can be found by using the search facility at: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-council.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
