Massive pothole in westbound lane of A428 at exit for Cambourne, under the overpass

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:08, Friday 18 June 2021

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

Unable to measure the pothole, as it's in the middle of the A428 in the westbound lane just after the Cambourne exit, directly under the overpass . It's really a collection of three potholes all strung together that sit between the two lanes of travel, so it would only be impacted by someone changing lanes. From my photos I took while driving past it, the pothole is at least 2 metres long by 40-50cm wide. I hit this pothole on June 11th at 13:25 and had my tyre blow out immediately. Fortunately, I maintained control of my car and other motorists allowed me to slow down rapidly and pull over to the side of the motorway.
