Street lighting bulbs missing off two posts

Reported via desktop in the Street lighting category anonymously at 19:16, Friday 25 June 2021

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later

Two lamp posts along the Greyfriars Bridge northbound side have had their street light bulbs missing for over a year now and yet still nothing has been done to replace them? Is this going to be done? Plus many others further along Victoria street/Steels roundabout are in a poor state, light covers decaying/cracked/exposed, some bulbs been out for a long time, some left permanently on/daylight burning etc.

Is this going to be dealt with anytime soon?

Thank you

Updates

  • Thank you for your patience whilst we looked into your report.

We're aware of the missing lanterns in this area. These lanterns were taken down due to an issue with them. The manufacturer taken these back and are completing some repairs on them.

These are not a standard lantern so repairs are not easy to complete. We're currently waiting on the manufacturer to finish these repairs and send them back to us. Unfortunately, I don't have a date for this yet.
