Tall grass blocking sight of oncoming traffic to bend in road

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 12:44, Friday 2 July 2021

Sent to Highways England less than a minute later

Whilst we appreciate our last request was actioned, unfortunately the grass has not been cut far enough along the verge to the west to allow us safe sight of oncoming traffic from the bend or for traffic to see us with enough time to break and stop if we are pulling onto the a31. Oncoming traffic from the west can sometimes be seen at that bend from our drive if there is no eastbounnd traffic but it is then hidden again from view on approach. If it was hidden at the sec we looked east and we pulled out then traffic would be upon us without enoughtime to act. Please can your operative kindly stand in the drive and check the sight line is adequate after recutting the verge. We trust this will be done before the busy school summer holidays and the increased traffic its brings. Thank you for your help.
