Overgrown vegetation harbouring vermin
Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) category anonymously at 17:00, Friday 2 July 2021
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later
The vegetation between the garden walls and the A595 is badly overgrown and rats have been seen in there.
We are required to cut grass in the highway verge twice a year between April and September. We are responsible for the first 2 metres of verge which will be programmed in the coming weeks as part of our routine cyclic maintenance schedule. Highways England are not responsible for vegetation down the embankment and up to the garden walls.
